Paediatric Dentist

Emilija is a specialist paediatric dentist, graduating both dentistry and specialist degrees from the University of Adelaide. She provides a range of surgical procedures including frenectomies, removal of extra teeth, teeth which are impacted or procedures required for orthodontics.
Emilija has a special dedication to helping patients who experience anxiety about surgical procedures. Her warm and empathetic approach, combined with the use of various forms of anaesthesia, including local anaesthesia, nitrous oxide, IV sedation, and general anaesthesia, ensures that every patient feels comfortable and at ease during their dental treatment.
Currently, Emilija shares her time between consulting with AOMS and as a consultant paediatric dentist at the Women's and Children's Hospital. She has recently been inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy as a Fellow. She is actively engaged in research and education, and currently pursuing a Ph.D. whilst supervising Honours and Masters students and tutoring dental students at the University of Adelaide.
